Hello. I'm Sherrie Morey.
I’ve loved old furniture since I was a little girl. My home is filled with pieces from my grandmas and parents. These pieces hold the stories of our family. The sideboard in our dining room reminds me of hot turkey sandwiches at my grandma's on Thanksgiving. The very first piece I painted over 10 years ago was a nightstand which stood beside my grandma's bed. With a bit of paint and wax, it became a side table in our living room.

Furniture holds all sort of memories.
Some old pieces work perfectly in a home just as they were first created. Others need a bit of help to make them fit. A piece may simply need a bit of beeswax to bring back the wood's luster. Other times paint is the perfect way to update a piece.

If you have a piece you love or a roadside rescue begging for some TLC, let me know. A bit of paint or stain might be just what it needs to continue its story. Let me collaborate with you to capture your vision.

None may be exactly yours. ..You want your furniture to work in your home. Paint, waxes and glazes can be used in countless ways to get just the look you want.

If your piece has broken trim, missing detailing or scratches, I'll repair this damage.

If you're looking for just the right piece for your home, let me know. I am constantly searching for interesting pieces. Because I'm constantly looking, I can help you find just the piece you need. I also have many pieces in storage now just waiting for the right person and already completed pieces ready for pick up at my space at Great Road Vintage, 276 Great Road, Acton, MA.
